The Dudes fall in love with Adam Sandler and Emily Watson in 2002's "Punch Drunk Love", directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. Imagine the Adam Sandler caricature transplanted into the real world - that's this movie. Sprinkle on a love story, and a slimy Philip Seymour Hoffman, and you've got something glorious. PTA is truly, ahem, the master.

This cult comedy is often considered one of the best Kubrick films, and touches on absurd subjects still relevant today. A true classic.
