The Dudes discuss 1995's "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar", directed by Beeban Kidron, starring Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo. This misguided comedy about being true to yourself, and kind to others, has its heart in the right place, but gets a lot of things wrong.

Power Rangers (2017) – Directed by Dean Israelite

The Dudes fall in love with Adam Sandler and Emily Watson in 2002's "Punch Drunk Love", directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. Imagine the Adam Sandler caricature transplanted into the real world - that's this movie. Sprinkle on a love story, and a slimy Philip Seymour Hoffman, and you've got something glorious. PTA is truly, ahem, the master.

The Dudes discuss 2007's "Hot Fuzz", directed by Edgar Wright, starring Simon Pegg. This English satire takes all you love about action, mystery, and suspense films, and lovingly mocks them with rapid paced jokes, and a big ol' fat wink. A soon-to-be comedy classic!

The Dudes get busy livin' as they discuss 1994's "The Shawshank Redemption", directed by Frank Darabont, starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. The Dudes discuss 1987's "The Secret of My Success", directed by Herbert Ross, starring Michael J. Fox. This cliched comedy comes with all the trappings of any mediocre 80's film, including montages to bad music, chauvinistic rants, idiot plot lines, and bad haircuts. No cocaine though!

The Dudes discuss 1989's "Longtime Companion", directed by Norman Rene, starring Campbell Scott and Bruce Davison. This might be the first theatrically released film that addresses the AIDS crisis, and it does so in a sincere, sympathetic, and hopeful manner. Hopefully, we find a cure soon.
