This seminole sci-fi horror flick redefined our expectations of both genres, and created one of the biggest pop-culture sensations of the last 50 years. The Dudes destroy a sleepy northwestern town, as they discuss 1982's "First Blood" directed by Ted Kotcheff, starring Sylvester Stallone and Brian Dennehy. This poignant story of a man mistreated by his homeland is the progenitor of action icon "John Rambo", as well as most of 80's action cinema. Or, as we like to call it: Rambo Begins.
