The dudes develop photos, and unhealthy obsessions, with 2002's One Hour Photo! This Robin Williams vehicle hinges on his playing against type. And it works. He steals customers' private photos, threatens naked people with hunting knives, and inappropriately gifts anime toys to little kids. It's everything Mrs. Doubtfire should have been!

Dudes On Demand 2025 concludes as The Dudes brawl with Canadian tourists and look at Messianic blood with 2008's In Bruges.  Like Goofus and Gallant, Ray's and Ken's life choices often contrast in a way that makes outsiders feel one man is better than the other.  And this is correct.  But every life has value, and though this movie contains a lot of death, it also celebrates life like few other films about career criminals would even attempt.

The Dudes remember their names with 2001's Spirited Away! This masterpiece from Studio Ghibli is often considered the best animated film ever made. From the imaginative and relatable characters, the universal storytelling, and incredibly intricate visuals, this film has it all. It's not perfect, but it's damn near close. Watch it or I'll cry!

The Dudes gyrate around a cauldron with 1982's The Beastmaster.  Full of imagination and ideas, this ambitious film that played for years on Basic and Premium Cable is a worthy Sword and Sorcery entry, an unfairly maligned genre.  So strip to your loincloths and cacaw from mountaintops, because if you're in the right headspace, this one is as fun as movies get.

After referencing it for years, The Dudes finally cover 1981's My Dinner With Andre.  Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory are very different people, but as writers and performers, their collaboration is perfectly synchronized.  Written by the two leads, this film is a dramatization of a conversation based on real events and experiences from each man's life.  It's also Dave's favorite movie, and seeing it will finally make you realize why he's like this.
