319 - Reefer Madness

The Dudes meet their friends by the statue at 4:20 with 1936's Reefer Madness.  This ludicrous 90-year-old film full of misinformation was financed by a church group, but eventually became ironic fun for college smartasses in the 70s, and then a party for Midnight Movie fans.  Sometimes, good people win.

The Dudes go undercover as outlaw bikers in 1991's Stone Cold! This action vehicle was meant to turn Brian Bosworth into the next Arnold Schwarzenegger. It didn't work, but we got the most awesome, badass spectacle of the time. Lance Henriksen is menacing, and William Forsyth is psychotic. But "The Boz" can handle it. Can you?

The Dudes make friends with a Coke drinking, McNugget loving space creature in 1988's "Mac & Me"! This blatant E.T. ripoff is famously terrible, but I would argue it's more bizarre than bad. Forced product placement, blatant script theft, and unintentional body horror are just a few of the things that make this mess of a movie what it is. The Dudes enlist for the Union in 1989's Glory. We all know the U.S. Civil War was a terrible tragedy, but it ended one of the worst crimes it had ever committed: slavery.
