264 - Blue Velvet

The Dudes discover the dark side of suburbia with 1986's Blue Velvet. If you've never experienced David Lynch, this is the place to start. It's got all the hallmarks: thrilling mystery, unsettling characters, and psycho-sexual encounters with people you probably shouldn't be involved with. Throw in an off-the-rails Dennis Hopper, and you've got a masterpiece. Just look out for severed ears.
